Description

A refreshing and naturally sweetened strawberry lemonade recipe perfect for summer days. Made with fresh strawberries, honey, and freshly squeezed lemon juice, this beverage is both delicious and healthy.


Ingredients

Fresh Strawberry Blend:

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1/2 cup honey

Lemonade Mixture:

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 46 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold water

Garnish:

  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices
  • Fresh mint (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend Strawberries: In a blender, combine the strawberries and honey. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain: Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher and stir well to combine.
  4. Adjust Sweetness: Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey.
  5. Chill and Serve: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace some or all of the water with sparkling water.
