Fresh Strawberry Blend:
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1/2 cup honey
Lemonade Mixture:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 4–6 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
Garnish:
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices
- Fresh mint (optional)
Instructions
- Blend Strawberries: In a blender, combine the strawberries and honey. Blend until smooth.
- Strain: Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher and stir well to combine.
- Adjust Sweetness: Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey.
- Chill and Serve: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.
Notes
- For a sparkling version, replace some or all of the water with sparkling water.
- Freeze extra strawberries to use as ice cubes for a fun twist.
