Description

Indulge in the flavors of fall with this delightful Honeycrisp Apple Sangria. Crisp white wine infused with apple brandy, orange liqueur, and sweet honey, combined with fresh apples, oranges, and a hint of cinnamon, make this sangria a perfect seasonal sipper.

Ingredients

Scale

    Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 1/2 cup apple brandy or apple liqueur
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (such as Cointreau)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced into rounds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water (added just before serving)
  • ice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple brandy, orange liqueur, and honey. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved.
  2. Add the sliced apples, orange rounds, cinnamon stick, and apple cider. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
  3. Just before serving, stir in the club soda or sparkling water for a refreshing fizz. Serve over ice in wine glasses or mason jars, garnished with extra apple slices or a cinnamon stick if desired.

Notes

  • You can swap Honeycrisp apples for other crisp, sweet varieties like Fuji or Pink Lady.
  • For a sweeter sangria, add more honey or a splash of ginger ale instead of club soda.
  • This sangria can also be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days—just add the bubbles at the last minute.
