Description

This Hot Honey Salmon recipe combines the sweetness of honey with a spicy kick, creating a flavorful glaze that perfectly complements the tender salmon. Baked to perfection, this dish is easy to make and sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

Hot Honey Glaze:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 12 tablespoons hot sauce (like sriracha or your favorite hot sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Garnish:

  • Lemon slices and chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and smoked paprika.
  3. Season the salmon: Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  4. Glaze the salmon: Place the fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with the hot honey glaze.
  5. Bake the salmon: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Broil for caramelization: For extra caramelization, broil the salmon for an additional 1–2 minutes at the end.
  7. Final touches: Remove from the oven and spoon any remaining glaze over the top. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the heat level by adding more or less hot sauce to your taste.
  • Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
