Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: In a food processor, combine chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt. Process until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Add Water: With the processor running, add cold water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired creamy consistency is reached.
  3. Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  4. Transfer and Garnish: Transfer hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish with paprika and parsley if desired.
  5. Serve: Enjoy with pita bread, veggies, or as a spread on sandwiches.
