Sauce:
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Prepare penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the chicken: Season chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet until browned and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
