Instructions
- Prepare Instant Pot: Place the metal trivet or a steamer basket in the bottom of the Instant Pot. Add 1 cup of cold water to the pot.
- Cook Eggs: Arrange the eggs on the trivet in a single layer. Secure the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on Manual High Pressure for 5 minutes.
- Natural Pressure Release: Once the cooking time is complete, allow a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Ice Bath: Carefully transfer the eggs to an ice water bath and let sit for 5 minutes to stop the cooking process.
- Peel Eggs: Gently crack and peel the eggs under cool running water.

- For easier peeling, use eggs that are a few days old.
- Store hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
