Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and extracts: Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla and anise extracts.
- Combine wet and dry: Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until dough forms.
- Form cookies: Roll dough into balls and place on baking sheets.
- Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and extract for glaze. Dip cooled cookies in glaze, top with sprinkles, and let set.
