Scale
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups ice
- 1 cup club soda
- 6–8 tablespoons fruit syrup (raspberry, strawberry, vanilla, etc.)
- 4 tablespoons heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons whipped cream
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: Fill a tall glass with about 3/4 cups of ice, enough so the glass is almost full. The ice keeps the drink cold and provides a base for the layers.
- Add the Syrup: Pour 3-4 tablespoons of your chosen fruit syrup over the ice. The syrup will settle at the bottom creating a colorful gradient effect.
- Pour the Club Soda: Slowly add 1/2 cup of club soda into each glass. Pour gently to maintain the layers and minimize fizzing, allowing slight mixing.
- Add the Cream: Top each drink with 2 tablespoons of heavy cream, pouring over the back of a spoon to let it float and create pretty swirls through the soda.
- Finish with Whipped Cream: Add 2 tablespoons of whipped cream on top, forming a fluffy and luxurious cloud-like topping.
- Serve and Enjoy: Provide a long spoon or straw for mixing the cream into the soda just before drinking to enjoy the creamy, fizzy blend.
Notes
- Use vibrant fruit syrups for the best visual effect and flavor.
- To keep the cream floating on top, pour it gently over the back of a spoon.
- This recipe serves 2; multiply ingredients for more servings.
