Description

These Lamb Sliders with Dill Greek Yogurt are a Mediterranean-inspired delight, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal. Juicy ground lamb seasoned with herbs and spices, paired with a refreshing dill yogurt sauce, all nestled in a soft slider bun.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Lamb Sliders:

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 slider buns

For the Dill Greek Yogurt Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Toppings (Optional):

  • Sliced cucumber
  • Red onion
  • Tomato
  • Arugula or baby spinach

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lamb Sliders: In a bowl, mix the ground lamb with garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Form into 6 equal slider-sized patties.
  2. Cook the Sliders: Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the sliders for 3–4 minutes per side or until browned and cooked through.
  3. Make the Dill Greek Yogurt Sauce: Mix the Greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Lightly toast the slider buns. Spread dill Greek yogurt sauce on each bun. Add the lamb slider and desired toppings. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, mix a tablespoon of crumbled feta into the lamb patties before cooking.
  • These sliders also pair well with pita or naan as a bun substitute.
