Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three parts, alternating with milk, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
