  • 1 1/4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (tossed with 1 tablespoon flour)

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • zest of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Prepare wet ingredients: Beat butter and sugar, then add eggs, sour cream, milk, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.
  4. Combine: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, fold in blueberries, and pour into pan.
  5. Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest; drizzle over cooled loaf.
