  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the glaze:

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Prepare wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine ingredients: Mix wet and dry ingredients until just combined. Pour into pan.
  5. Bake: Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Make the glaze: Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest. Spread over cooled brownies.
