  • 1 cup water
  • Lemonade:

  • 4 cups cold water
  • lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Prepare Lemonade: In a large pitcher, mix the lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining 4 cups of water. Stir well and adjust sweetness to taste. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint.
