Ingredients
Macaroni and Cheese:
1 (7.25-ounce) box macaroni and cheese (plus ingredients to prepare),
Whole Kernel Corn Mixture:
1 (15-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained,
Cream-Style Corn:
1 (15-ounce) can cream-style corn,
Additional Ingredients:
1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted, 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled, 1/4 cup chopped green onions, salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare Mac and Cheese: Prepare the boxed macaroni and cheese according to package instructions.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the prepared mac and cheese, drained corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, milk, melted butter, 1 cup of shredded cheese, half of the bacon, and half of the green onions. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake: Spread the mixture in a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese and bacon. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Let it rest, then garnish with green onions before serving.
