Description
This Maple Glazed Salmon recipe is a delicious and easy way to prepare salmon fillets for a flavorful main course. The sweet and savory glaze adds a perfect finish to the tender, flaky salmon.
Ingredients
Scale
Salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
Maple Glaze:
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the maple glaze generously over each fillet, reserving a little extra for basting.
- Bake Salmon: Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, basting with the remaining glaze halfway through, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra caramelization, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- This recipe pairs well with rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
