For the Sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil), chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

For Serving:

  • 12 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • Chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sear the chicken in a skillet until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic, then add chicken broth and simmer. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine and Serve: Slice the cooked chicken and return to the skillet with pasta. Toss to coat in the sauce. Cook briefly until heated through. Garnish with basil or parsley and serve hot.
