Instructions

- Add onion: Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
- Seasonings: Stir in garlic, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add broth and orzo: Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir in orzo and simmer for 8–10 minutes until tender.
- Add cream and cheese: Stir in heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Finish soup: Fold in spinach and cook until wilted, about 2–3 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
