Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in peppermint extract and food coloring.
- Combine and Bake: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips and mint candies. Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes.
- Cool and Enjoy: Let cookies cool on the sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
