Ground Beef:

  • 1 pound ground beef

Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles: Prepare noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef in sesame oil until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add Flavor: Sauté garlic and ginger, then add soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer.
  4. Thicken Sauce: Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens.
