Noodles:
- 8 ounces lo mein or spaghetti noodles
Ground Beef:
- 1 pound ground beef
Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Garnish:
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Noodles: Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef in sesame oil until browned. Add garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant.
