Description

Stay refreshed and hydrated with this natural electrolyte drink known as Nature’s Gatorade. Made with simple ingredients, this homemade sports drink is perfect for post-workout recovery or hot days.

  • 2 cups coconut water,
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice,
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice,
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or maple syrup,
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt,
  • optional: pinch of magnesium powder or calcium citrate for added electrolytes

Instructions

  1. In a large jar or pitcher, combine the coconut water, orange juice, lemon juice, honey (or maple syrup), and sea salt.
  2. Stir or shake well until the honey is fully dissolved. Add a pinch of magnesium powder or calcium citrate if desired. Chill in the refrigerator or serve over ice. Stir again before drinking.
