  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1½ cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: To 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix.
  4. Add oats and chocolate chips: Fold them into the dough until combined.
  5. Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden. Cool on a wire rack.
