Chicken Wings:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split and tips removed

Seasoning:

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper for heat
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings very dry using paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using. Drizzle with olive oil and toss again to coat evenly.
  3. Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 25 minutes, then flip each wing and bake for an additional 20–25 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
