  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts: Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness (about 1/2 inch).
  2. Prepare the coating: In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken: Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then dredge in the Parmesan mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Cook the chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil.
  5. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, whisk in flour, then slowly add chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer until slightly thickened, then stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
