Instructions

  1. Prepare the Brownie Batter: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the family-size brownie mix, 2 large eggs, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, and 1/4 cup water or coffee. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  2. Bake the Brownies: Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  3. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: In a separate bowl, beat the softened 8 oz cream cheese with 1 cup powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Divide the mixture into two portions and add red gel food coloring to one and blue gel food coloring to the other, mixing each until you achieve vibrant colors.
  4. Cut the Brownies: Once the brownies are completely cool, use a small round cookie cutter to cut out circles from the brownie slab. These will serve as the ‘bombs’.
