Description

A refreshing Pineapple Matcha Drink that combines the earthy richness of ceremonial-grade matcha with tropical pineapple juice, creamy coconut milk, and a hint of spicy ginger. Perfectly chilled and shaken for a smooth, vibrant beverage that’s ideal for a quick energizing boost or a delicious treat on a warm day.

Ingredients

Scale

Matcha Mixture

  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) matcha powder, high-quality ceremonial-grade
  • ⅓ cup (80 ml) hot water

Main Drink

  • ½ cup (120 ml) 100% pure pineapple juice (no added sugar or preservatives)
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) full-fat coconut milk (shake canned coconut milk well before measuring)
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon (2.55 ml) ginger juice or minced ginger (start with ½ teaspoon and adjust for spiciness if desired)

Instructions

  1. Prepare matcha mixture: Add 1 teaspoon of matcha powder and ⅓ cup hot water to a cup. Whisk thoroughly with a matcha whisk or handheld milk frother until the matcha powder is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and free of lumps, ensuring a silky texture for the drink.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a cocktail shaker or large mason jar, combine the prepared matcha mixture, ½ cup pineapple juice, ½ to 1 teaspoon ginger juice or minced ginger, and ¼ cup coconut milk. Seal the container tightly to prevent spills.
  3. Shake to blend and chill: Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the mixture is well blended and chilled, creating a harmonized flavor and creamy texture.
  4. Serve: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes as desired. Pour the shaken drink over the ice, then stir gently to recombine any separated ingredients and ensure even flavor. Enjoy immediately for the best taste and refreshment.

  • Shake well to achieve a creamy and uniform consistency.
  • This drink is best served immediately to enjoy its fresh flavor and texture.
