Description

This delightful Pumpkin-Shaped Cheeseball is a perfect appetizer for fall gatherings and holiday parties. Creamy and flavorful, this cheeseball is shaped like a pumpkin and coated with crunchy cheddar crackers or nacho chips. It’s easy to make and sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale

Cheeseball:

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Coating and Garnish:

  • 1 cup crushed cheddar cheese crackers or crushed nacho chips
  • 1 bell pepper stem for decoration
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cheeseball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, green onions, red bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape Cheeseball: Form the mixture into a ball and wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. Shape the ball into a pumpkin by creating indentations with rubber bands or twine. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  3. Coat and Garnish: Roll the chilled cheeseball in crushed crackers or nacho chips. Add a bell pepper stem to the top center. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with crackers and vegetables.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding cooked and crumbled bacon or chopped nuts to the cheese mixture.
  • You can substitute crushed pretzels for the coating for a different texture.
