Description

Indulge in the cozy flavors of fall with this Pumpkin Spice Margarita. A delightful blend of tequila, pumpkin puree, and warm spices, this seasonal cocktail is perfect for autumn gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 2 oz reposado tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or triple sec)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ice

Optional Rim:

  • 2 tablespoons sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • lime wedge for rimming

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rim: Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Rim a glass with lime wedge, dip in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  2. Shake the Drink: In a shaker, combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice with ice. Shake well for 20 seconds.
  3. Strain and Serve: Strain into the prepared glass over ice. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or lime wedge.

Notes

  • Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
  • Shake well to fully mix the puree into the drink.
  • Agave nectar or honey can be used instead of maple syrup.
  • For a crowd, multiply ingredients and mix before serving over ice.
