Sauce:
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 small red bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 small green bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Lime wedges for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Prepare fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the chicken: Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Make the sauce: Sauté garlic, bell peppers. Add cream, broth, Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and paprika. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine and serve: Return chicken to skillet, add pasta, and toss in sauce. Simmer briefly. Garnish with parsley and lime wedges.
