Sauce:

  • 1 small green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Lime wedges for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Prepare fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the chicken: Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the sauce: Sauté garlic, bell peppers. Add cream, broth, Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and paprika. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Combine and serve: Return chicken to skillet, add pasta, and toss in sauce. Simmer briefly. Garnish with parsley and lime wedges.
