Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained, rinsed, and patted dry
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare chickpeas: Spread the chickpeas on a clean kitchen towel, pat them very dry, removing any loose skins if desired.
- Season chickpeas: Transfer chickpeas to the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and black pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.
- Roast: Roast for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
