  • 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained, rinsed, and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare chickpeas: Spread the chickpeas on a clean kitchen towel, pat them very dry, removing any loose skins if desired.
  3. Season chickpeas: Transfer chickpeas to the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and black pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.
