For the crust:
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the panna cotta filling:
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ teaspoons rose water
For decoration:
- Thinly sliced strawberries or raspberries
- Edible rose petals
- Crushed pistachios (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Heat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into a tart pan and bake for 8–10 minutes. Cool.
- Make the panna cotta: Bloom gelatin in milk, then heat with cream, sugar, and vanilla. Remove from heat, add rose water, and cool slightly.
- Fill the crust: Pour panna cotta mixture into the tart crust. Chill for at least 4 hours.
- Decorate and serve: Top with berries, rose petals, and pistachios before serving.
Notes
- Adjust rose water to taste.
- Shortbread crust can be used for a different flavor.
- Best served cold.
