Asparagus and Peas:
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus (trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces)

- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions
- Blanch Asparagus and Peas: Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Add the asparagus and peas; blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain and plunge into ice water to stop cooking; drain again and pat dry.
- Sauté Asparagus and Peas: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the asparagus and peas to the skillet; sauté for 3-4 minutes until heated through and slightly caramelized.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and zest, season with salt and black pepper. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with fresh mint or parsley, and serve warm.
