Cauliflower:

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Sesame Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water

Garnish:

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare cauliflower: Toss cauliflower with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on the baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes until golden.
  3. Make sesame glaze: In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Thicken with cornstarch slurry.
  4. Coat cauliflower: Toss roasted cauliflower in the glaze. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
