Fettuccine:
- 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
Shrimp:
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook shrimp until pink, then set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
