Fettuccine:

  • 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

Shrimp:

  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook shrimp until pink, then set aside.
