Pasta:
- 12 oz uncooked penne or linguine
Shrimp:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta: Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Cook the shrimp: Season shrimp and cook until pink; set aside.
- Make the sauce: Sauté garlic, red pepper flakes, add wine/broth, lemon juice, simmer.
- Combine: Toss pasta in the sauce with Parmesan and parsley, fold in shrimp.
