Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 pound ground beef

- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Additional Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni or rotini pasta
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook beef: Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until vegetables are softened.
- Make sauce: Stir in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened. Remove from heat and mix in cooked pasta.
- Assemble: Pour mixture into baking dish. Top with cheddar and mozzarella. Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Serve: Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
