  • 1 pound ground beef

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • 8 ounces pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Beef: In a skillet, brown ground beef with olive oil. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Make the Sauce: Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Combine: Add cooked pasta to the skillet, mix well. Sprinkle cheddar cheese, stir until melted.
  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
