Pork Spare Ribs:

  • 3 pounds pork spare ribs

Spice Rub:

  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Barbecue Sauce:

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ribs: Mix the spice rub ingredients and coat the ribs. Place in the slow cooker.
  2. Make the Sauce: Combine barbecue sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the ribs.
  3. Cook: Cook on low for 7–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours until tender.
