  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional:

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing and lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, melted butter, oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add the dry ingredients: Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently until just combined.
