Ingredients
Scale
Brownie Base
- 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box, usually eggs, oil, and water)
- Nonstick cooking spray
Filling and Toppings
- 12 fun-size Snickers bars (cut into thirds)
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup caramel sauce
- ¼ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray to ensure the brownie bites do not stick.
- Make the Brownie Batter: Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, usually combining the mix with eggs, oil, and water as directed until smooth.
- Fill Muffin Cups: Spoon the prepared brownie batter into each miniature muffin cup, filling about three-quarters full to allow room for the Snickers pieces.
- Add Snickers Pieces: Press one piece of the cut Snickers bar into the center of the batter in each muffin cup to embed the candy inside the brownies.
- Bake the Brownie Bites: Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted near the edge comes out clean, ensuring they are fully cooked without overbaking.
- Cool the Brownie Bites: Allow the brownie bites to cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes to make removal easier, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare Chocolate Ganache: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Decorate Brownie Bites: Drizzle the cooled brownie bites with the chocolate ganache, followed by caramel sauce. Optionally, sprinkle chopped peanuts on top to add crunch and extra flavor.
- Set and Serve: Let the decorated brownie bites set before serving to allow the toppings to firm up.
Notes
- Store the brownie bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days for best freshness.
- You can freeze these treats for up to 1 month; thaw before serving.
- Feel free to replace Snickers bars with other candy bars such as Twix or Milky Way for a different twist.
