Description

These Snickers Brownie Bites are a decadent mini dessert featuring rich brownie batter filled with chunks of fun-size Snickers bars. Topped with a smooth chocolate ganache, caramel drizzle, and optional chopped peanuts, they make the perfect party treat or indulgent snack. Easy to prepare and bake in just 25 minutes, these bite-sized delights combine chewy, chocolatey, and nutty flavors in every mouthful.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Base

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box, usually eggs, oil, and water)
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Filling and Toppings

  • 12 fun-size Snickers bars (cut into thirds)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray to ensure the brownie bites do not stick.
  2. Make the Brownie Batter: Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, usually combining the mix with eggs, oil, and water as directed until smooth.
  3. Fill Muffin Cups: Spoon the prepared brownie batter into each miniature muffin cup, filling about three-quarters full to allow room for the Snickers pieces.
  4. Add Snickers Pieces: Press one piece of the cut Snickers bar into the center of the batter in each muffin cup to embed the candy inside the brownies.
  5. Bake the Brownie Bites: Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted near the edge comes out clean, ensuring they are fully cooked without overbaking.
  6. Cool the Brownie Bites: Allow the brownie bites to cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes to make removal easier, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Prepare Chocolate Ganache: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  8. Decorate Brownie Bites: Drizzle the cooled brownie bites with the chocolate ganache, followed by caramel sauce. Optionally, sprinkle chopped peanuts on top to add crunch and extra flavor.
  9. Set and Serve: Let the decorated brownie bites set before serving to allow the toppings to firm up.

Notes

  • Store the brownie bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days for best freshness.
  • You can freeze these treats for up to 1 month; thaw before serving.
  • Feel free to replace Snickers bars with other candy bars such as Twix or Milky Way for a different twist.
