- 2/3 cup baking soda
- 10 cups water
Topping:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Add flour and salt, mix, knead, and let rise.
- Shape the Pretzels: Divide dough, roll into ropes, shape into pretzels.
- Boil the Pretzels: Boil in baking soda water bath, then bake.
- Finish the Pretzels: Brush with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and serve warm.
