Description
Solé water, a mineral-rich drink made from Himalayan pink salt, is a simple and effective way to support hydration and mineral intake. This recipe provides a step-by-step guide to creating your own solé water at home.
Ingredients
Scale
Solé Water:
- 1 cup high-quality Himalayan pink salt (coarse or fine)
- 2–3 cups filtered water
Instructions
- Add the Himalayan salt: Place the Himalayan salt in a clean glass jar, filling about 1/4 of the jar.
- Pour filtered water: Add filtered water over the salt, leaving some space at the top.
- Stir and cover: Gently stir the mixture, then cover the jar with a plastic lid or non-metal covering.
- Let it sit: Allow the mixture to rest at room temperature for 24 hours.
- Check saturation: After 24 hours, check for undissolved salt at the bottom. If some salt remains, the solution is ready. If not, add more salt and wait another day.
- Ready to use: Your solé water is ready when undissolved salt remains. To consume, mix 1 teaspoon of solé water into a glass of filtered water each morning on an empty stomach.
Notes
- Use non-metallic utensils and lids to prevent a chemical reaction with the salt.
- Store solé water at room temperature as its high salt concentration prevents spoilage.
- Great for hydration, electrolyte balance, and mineral intake.
