  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Other Layers:

  • 1 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen corn
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Layer Ingredients: Spread rice, beef mixture, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, corn, and cheese in the baking dish.
