For the Sangria:
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, to taste)
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 large orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 cup club soda or sparkling water
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry sparkling wine or prosecco
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine white wine, cranberry juice, orange juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup if using.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight to let the flavors infuse.
- Just before serving, stir in club soda and sparkling wine.
Add fresh cranberries, orange slices, and lemon slices. Stir gently to combine.
Serve chilled over ice in glasses and garnish with rosemary sprigs and extra cranberries if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter sangria, add more simple syrup to taste.
- You can substitute pomegranate seeds for cranberries for a twist.
