Marinade:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Coating:
- 1/2 cup chickpea flour (or all-purpose flour)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for extra crunch)
- Oil for frying or baking
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Coat the Chicken: Combine chickpea flour and breadcrumbs. Dredge each marinated chicken piece in the flour mixture until coated.
- To Fry: Fry nuggets in batches until golden brown and cooked through.
- To Bake: Bake coated nuggets at 425°F for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve hot with chutney, ketchup, or yogurt dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs or air fry at 400°F for 14–16 minutes.
