  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning. Cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through, then set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic, peppers, and onion until softened. Add cream, broth, Parmesan, paprika, red pepper flakes, and Cajun seasoning. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine Everything: Return chicken to the skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss until well coated.
