Ingredients
Fresh Strawberries:
1 pound
White Chocolate Chips or White Candy Melts:
1 1/2 cups
Coconut Oil (optional):
1 tablespoon
Mini Chocolate Chips:
for eyes
Regular Chocolate Chips or Melted Dark Chocolate:
for mouths
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and dry the strawberries. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip the Strawberries: Dip each strawberry into the melted white chocolate, letting excess drip off to form a ghostly tail. Place on the parchment-lined sheet.
- Add Eyes: While the coating is wet, press mini chocolate chips into each strawberry for eyes.
- Create Mouths: Use regular chocolate chips or melted dark chocolate to draw spooky mouths once the coating sets slightly.
- Chill: Refrigerate the strawberries for 10–15 minutes until fully set. Serve chilled.
Notes
- Ensure strawberries are completely dry for better chocolate adhesion.
- Best enjoyed on the same day they’re made.
