  • 6 fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • ½ cup club soda (or to taste)
  • ice cubes
  • extra mint and strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Muddle the Ingredients: In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, muddle the sliced strawberries, mint leaves, and sugar until the berries release their juices and the mint is fragrant.
  2. Add Lime Juice and Rum: Add the fresh lime juice and white rum, and stir or shake gently to combine.
