- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Strawberry Layer: Toss halved strawberries with brown sugar and melted butter. Arrange them cut side down in the pan.
- Make the Cake Batter: Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla. Mix in sour cream. Gradually add dry ingredients and milk.
