For the Bowls:
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- 3 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Turkey: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until fully cooked and lightly browned, about 6–8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add Flavors: Add garlic and ginger, cook for another 1–2 minutes. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour over the turkey and stir to coat.
- Cook the Broccoli: Add broccoli to the skillet, stir to combine. Cover and cook for 5–6 minutes until tender. For frozen broccoli, cook a few minutes longer.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, top with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over cooked rice.

- You can use ground chicken or beef instead of turkey.
